Coalescers (Liquid-Liquid Coalescers and Liquid-Gas Coalescers)

Colescers are most reliable and highly efficient way of separation of two immiscible liquids or liquid from gas. The colaescer coalesces the small droplets of liquid into larger droplets which is in dispersed phase in main fluid stream. Fil Sep high efficiency coalecers merge small droplets of liquid into larger one, as it passes through several layers of coalescer media each with progressively larger pores. The large droplets thus formed are easier to separate from continuous phase fluid stream. The colescer type and size is determined by numerous factors such as physical properties of fluid, flow rate of fluid, process condition and chemical compatibility of the coalesce media with the process fluid.
